Glenfiddich 18 Year Old is a Speyside single malt bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is matured for 18 years in Oloroso sherry and ex-bourbon casks, then married in small batches.
Glenfiddich was founded by William Grant in 1887 and is still family owned.
The nose offers baked apple, orchard fruit and a touch of cinnamon, with oak and subtle sherry sweetness. The palate is full-bodied and silky, with dried fruit, candied citrus and warm spices balanced by toffee and vanilla. The finish is long and warming, with fruitcake and oak spice.
