A 21 year old Glenfiddich single malt from Speyside, finished in rum casks and bottled by the distillery at 40% abv in a 70cl bottle. It is the Gran Reserva expression.
The nose has rum-soaked raisins, ripe bananas, caramelised brown sugar and slightly bitter orange peel. On the palate come ripe tropical fruit, cream caramel and vanilla, with pronounced oak spice. The finish is long, with a short note of coffee with cream and dry oak.
