This is a 40 year old Glenfiddich single malt Scotch whisky, part of the Time Reimagined series, in a 70cl bottle.
It comes from a marrying tun that has never been emptied since the first Glenfiddich 40 Year Old was unveiled in 2000. For this edition, Malt Master Brian Kinsman added two butts and five hogsheads of whisky to the tun, giving a sherry-led profile that is weightier and more complex than earlier releases.
It is described as having dried fruits, oak spice, and subtle hints of dark chocolate and toasted nuts, with a lingering finish.
