Glenfiddich Grand Cru is a 23 year old Speyside single malt, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It matures first in American and European oak casks, then moves into French cuvée oak casks to finish.
The nose brings brioche, banana, vanilla blossom, sugared almonds, a hint of cider and lemon peel. On the palate there is melted butter on rye toast, sandalwood and peach, with soft pepper and a pinch of mint arriving later. The finish is flaky pastry, dry malt and pear sweetness.
