Glenfiddich Grand Chateau is a 31 year old single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle, released as a limited edition in the Grande Series. It was aged in American and European oak casks, then finished in Bordeaux wine casks.
For this release Glenfiddich collaborated with the French artist André Saraiva, who designed the packaging. His bright, bold print is found inside the box.
The nose opens with warm vanilla, then ripe cassis, floral notes and a nutty edge. On the palate are slowly caramelised cherries and apples with warming spice and toasted oak. The finish is deep and lasting.
