Glenfiddich Project XX is a single malt created by Malt Master Brian Kinsman together with 20 whisky brand ambassadors from 16 countries. Each of them chose a cask, and the chosen casks were then married into a single whisky.
The casks include ex-bourbon and refill American oak, as well as refill sherry and port casks.
The nose is woody and spicy, with toffee and orange peel. On the palate come clove, cinnamon and vanilla with lively wood tannins, wrapped in sweet fudge. The finish is long and layered, with lingering espresso and dark chocolate.
