Glenfiddich – Pure Malt Over 8 Years 1970s Bottling

Glenfiddich Pure Malt, labelled 'Over 8 Years', is a bottling from the 1970s. It is straw in colour. The nose is very fruity, with tropical fruit such as mango, white fruit including yellow peach and gooseberry, then kiwi and hints of rhubarb, all held together by a firm woody structure. The palate is well balanced, with strawberry, pepper and passion fruit. The finish is quite long and very fruity.
