A 10 year old Highland single malt from Glengoyne, from the 1980s and bottled at 40% ABV. It is unpeated and made from air-dried barley.
The nose offers green apple and apricot, pecan, crème brûlée and vanilla custard, with fresh-cut grass, hay and toasted barley. The palate is creamy and full-bodied with a silky texture, bringing cinnamon, a touch of pepper, dried apricot, buttery caramel, toasted oak and almond.
The finish is medium to long, with buttery caramel, toasted oak and lingering spice.
