A 10 year old Highland single malt from Glengoyne, matured in carefully chosen sherry casks. The distillery uses Golden Promise barley and dries it with air rather than peat smoke, so the flavour of the malt is kept intact. It was licensed in 1833 and sits on the edge of the Highlands, near Glasgow. The nose is sweet caramel and popcorn with light green apple. The palate is sweet, with toffee, popcorn and green apples. The finish brings almonds, green apples and liquorice.
