This is a 10 year old single malt from Glengoyne, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
It is matured in hand-selected sherry casks made from European and American oak. The distillery works slowly, and the barley is dried by air rather than peat smoke.
The nose is sweet, with toffee and popcorn, a slight nuttiness and fresh green apples. The palate is clean, with green apples, grass, soft oak and a hint of sweet liquorice; water brings out linseed oil and almonds. The finish is sweet and malty.
