Glengoyne 10 Years is a Highland single malt aged for ten years, in a 70cl bottle at 40% abv. The barley is dried by air, never peat, and the whisky is distilled more slowly than at any other Scottish distillery. It is matured in hand-selected sherry casks made from European and American oak.
The nose is sweet, with toffee and popcorn, a slight nuttiness and fresh green apples. The palate brings green apples, grass, soft oak and a hint of sweet liquorice. A drop of water brings out linseed oil and almonds.
