Glengoyne 15 Year Old is a Highland single malt made from 100% malted barley. The barley is air-dried during kilning, so the whisky carries no peat.
It matures in three types of cask: 20% first-fill bourbon, 25% first-fill sherry and 55% refill casks.
The nose offers candied lemon, butterscotch, creamy cereal sweetness and dried fruit with Demerara sugar. The palate is oily and rich, with toffee popcorn, salted butter, ground walnuts, allspice, lemon rind and baked apple.
