Glengoyne – 15 Year Old Highland Single Malt

Glengoyne 15 Year Old is a Highland single malt of natural colour, matured in European ex-sherry casks and American ex-bourbon casks, roughly half of them first-fill. The distillery uses only Golden Promise barley, dried with air rather than peat smoke, and distils unusually slowly. The nose is sweet lemon with warm caramelised popcorn. The palate is oily and rounded, with nuts, sweet citrus, light caramel and vanilla from the casks. The finish is long, with oak spice and a fruity character.
