Glengoyne 15 Years Old is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky matured in bourbon casks and sherry wood. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle, with natural colour from the oak casks.
The nose is of fresh hay, malt flour, nuts and citrus, including lemon peel and candied orange, with a touch of rosehip.
The palate is sweet and soft, with apple pie, tropical fruit, creamy caramel, cinnamon and a hint of walnut, in an oily, enveloping texture. The finish is dry and of medium length, with oak, mild ginger and clove spice, and caramel.
