Glengoyne 15 Years PX Cask Edition is a Highland single malt finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. It is bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The distillery dates from 1833 and is known for having the slowest stills in Scotland.
The nose brings red apples, dates, figs and cinnamon, with subtle oak, molasses and orange peel. The palate is full and velvety, with plum jam, chocolate raisins and PX sweetness, plus a hint of lemon balm and brandy. The finish is long and spicy, with caramel and a touch of liquorice.
