Glengoyne 18 Year Old is a Highland single malt matured for 18 years, with a clear sherry cask influence. A generous share of first-fill Oloroso sherry casks is joined by carefully chosen refill casks. It is unpeated, bottled by the distillery at 43%, chill-filtered and without added colouring.
Red apple and ripe melon lead the nose, followed by warm porridge with brown sugar. On the palate come macerated fruit, marzipan and walnut, then warm spices, dry cocoa and long-lasting Seville orange marmalade. The finish is long, warm and dry.
