Glengoyne – 21 Year Old

Glengoyne 21 Year Old is a Highland single malt matured for more than two decades, mainly in first-fill European oak sherry casks. Glengoyne has been making whisky since 1833, using a slow distillation. This bottling won a Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2022. The sherry casks give sweetness and depth, with plenty of rich fruit. It is described as having notes of Christmas cake, honeyed sweetness, dried fruits and a gentle touch of warming spice, followed by a long, warming finish.
