Glengoyne 24 Year Old - White Oak (70cl, 47.8%)

A 24 year old Highland single malt from Glengoyne, a limited release in the White Oak series. It matured entirely in American oak, using first-fill bourbon casks and new oak casks. The series appeared in 2024 as the first of the Oak Masters' Series, which focuses on virgin oak from different regions. It is bottled at 47.8% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and with no added colour. The nose combines vanilla and toasted oak with lemon cream, honey and plum jam, plus desiccated coconut, spiced apple pastry and lime zest. On the palate, fresh lemon, lime tart and honeycomb meet tropical fruit, with oak, star anise, chocolate and vanilla. The finish is long, with toffee apple, citrus, lime zest and oak.
