Glengoyne 25 Year Old is a Highland single malt bottled at 48% ABV, matured for twenty-five years in first-fill European oak sherry casks. Its colour is natural, with no added colouring. Glengoyne has dried its barley with air rather than peat smoke since its founding in 1833.
The nose brings red fruits, old leather and brown sugar. On the palate there are dried fruits, fig, apricot, orange, chocolate, cinnamon and oak, with Seville marmalade and treacle notes. The finish is very long, with spiced liquorice and a slow dryness.
