Glengoyne – 30 Year Old Bottled 2021 (70cl, 46.8%)

Glengoyne 30 Year Old is a Highland single malt, here in its 2021 edition, the fifth since the 30 year old was revived in 2017. It was bottled at 46.8% in a 70cl bottle, in an edition of 5,200 bottles. The whisky was assembled from first fill and refill sherry casks and bottled without colouring or chill filtration. It is deep amber in colour. The nose brings black cherry, sherry trifle, marmalade, tea rose and rum and raisin chocolate. On the palate, a burst of sweetness gives way to plum compote, cinnamon, cloves and tangy marmalade.
