Glengoyne 30 Year Old is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky, matured for thirty years in sherry oak casks and bottled at 46.8% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose brings black cherry, sherry trifle and tangy marmalade, with tea rose and rum and raisin chocolate alongside. On the palate an opening sweetness gives way to plum compote, cinnamon and cloves, orange marmalade and sherry oak.
The finish is very long and warming, with oak dryness, cinnamon spice and a little dried-fruit sweetness.
