Glengoyne Palmer Cask is a single malt distilled in 1997 and finished in a Chateau Palmer cask, from the Bordeaux wine region of France. It was bottled in 2012 at 45.3% ABV. Glengoyne sits on the Highland and Lowland border, distilling in the Highlands and maturing in the Lowlands. The distillery was founded in 1833 under the name Burnfoot and is now owned by Ian MacLeod. It uses slow distillation, no peat, and a careful selection of sherry casks.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
