Glengoyne – White Oak (48%)

Glengoyne White Oak is a single malt that marks a new chapter for the distillery. It is bottled at 48%. The whisky is matured solely in first fill bourbon and virgin oak casks, selected from North American cooperages. The casks are only lightly charred, exposed to flame for less than a minute, which leaves the distillery's delicate spirit at the front. The nose brings fresh oak, zesty citrus, green banana and a floral touch of violet. On the palate it is soft, with crème brûlée, chewy fruit sweets and juicy pineapple, ending in a long, silky finish of toffee-dipped apples.
