Glenkinchie 12 Year Old is a Lowland malt whisky in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV. It has a soft, creamy character, and its silkiness comes close to that of an Irish whiskey.
On the nose, meadow flowers mingle with vanilla, with a little citrus rounding things off. The palate is sweet, with a note of cheesecake, and a light spiciness of vanilla, ginger, freesia and citrus. It is said to go especially well with sweet cheeses.
