This is a 12-year-old single malt from Glenkinchie, labelled The Edinburgh Malt and bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. The distillery is at Pencaitland, in the Lowlands, and its history goes back to 1825.
The nose is malt and fruit, with apricot, pear, lemon and oak. The palate is soft, with more fruit, vanilla, malt and citrus. The finish is soft and fresh.
