Glenkinchie – 12 Years (70cl)

Glenkinchie 12 Years is a Lowland single malt in a 70cl bottle. Its light character comes from distillation in some of the largest stills in Scotland, followed by 12 years of maturation, which gives a light, floral whisky with a fresh, creamy taste. The nose is aromatic and floral, with clear vanilla, cut flowers such as narcissus, blossom and a hint of lily, and a clean roasted nut underneath. The palate turns sweeter and creamier, with a light aromatic edge and fresh citrus that recalls lemon cheesecake. A little water makes it creamier still.
