A 12 year old Glenlivet bottled in the late 1970s, at 40% ABV. The label still shows fluid ounces and proof, and the box and label styling mark it as a bottling from that decade, possibly the early 1980s.
The whisky was distilled in the 1960s. It is an unblended all malt Scotch whisky, and the label felt it necessary to remind drinkers that it was not a blend, which was unusual for the time. The bottle is in fantastic condition for its age.
