This is a 15 year old Glenlivet, a Speyside single malt from Gordon & Macphail released under the George & J G Smiths name. Bottlings like it were made in the 1980s and 1990s, and this one dates from the 1990s. It is 40% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The Glenlivet distillery is near Ballindalloch in Moray and was founded in 1824. It is the oldest legal distillery in the parish of Glenlivet, and has operated almost continuously since, with its only closure coming during World War II.
