Glenmorangie The Original is a 12-year-old Highland single malt Scotch whisky, matured in bourbon casks and bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It comes from a distillery that has been working since 1843.
The nose pairs citrus and ripe peaches with soft vanilla. Vanilla leads on the palate too, then gives way to a burst of floral and fruity notes.
The finish is surprisingly persistent, full of almond and coconut with a touch of maple syrup.
