A 14 year old single malt from Glenrothes in Speyside, bottled by Gordon & MacPhail as a Spirit of Scotland release at 59.9% ABV. It was distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2026, with an outturn of 341 bottles.
The whisky matured in a first fill sherry hogshead and has a dark gold colour.
The nose offers stewed fruit with warm spices and a touch of cocoa powder. The palate is smooth yet spicy, with raspberry, blackberry, milk chocolate and orange. The finish is medium, with lingering oak and black pepper.
