This Glenrothes was distilled in 2007 and matured for 18 years without a break in a sherry hogshead. It is a Speyside single malt bottled at a cask strength of 55.4% by the independent bottler Maltman, in a 70cl bottle.
Sherry and Jaffa Cakes lead the nose. The palate brings milky coffee, brown sugar and candied ginger, with notes of orange, nougat and chocolate, all delivered in a velvety texture.
