Glenrothes 1988 2nd Edition is a single vintage Speyside single malt. The first edition of the 1988 vintage came out in 2009, when John Ramsay, the Malt Master at the time, picked the casks that were at their best.
Some of the whisky, he judged, needed longer in cask, and the second edition was released seven years later.
