This is a 2001 vintage single malt from Glenrothes, in a 70cl bottle at 43% vol. The distillery is in the town of Rothes in Speyside, which is home to four relatively large working distilleries.
Glenrothes is a full, fruity, sherried whisky. Most of its production goes into blends, and vintage single malt releases such as this one are a newer part of its output.
