The whisky matured from 2011 to 2022 and was then given a final finish in a first-fill sherry butt.
The nose is full and strong, with dates, plums and spices over a honey sweetness, and roasted notes of fresh coffee and dark chocolate. The palate is sweet and heavy on the tongue, with honey, dates and pleasant oak. The finish brings oak, coffee and dark chocolate, with a dry mouthfeel.
