A 25 year old Speyside single malt from Glenrothes, in a 70cl bottle. It was aged predominantly in first-fill sherry-seasoned casks and won the Chairman's Trophy at the 2018 Ultimate Spirits Challenge.
The nose is ripe tropical fruit, with mango and pineapple leading to hints of cedarwood. The palate is velvety, with coriander seed, delicate violets and a touch of salted caramel, balancing sweet and savoury elements. The finish is lasting, with floral and citrus notes.
