A single cask Glentauchers from Speyside, distilled in 2007 and bottled at 11 years old by the SMWS. It was matured in a single bourbon cask and bottled at 59.8% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. The outturn was 191 bottles.
The nose is fresh and fruity, with ripe peaches, pomelo, mango and lychee. On the palate it is sweet and creamy, opening with a hit of ginger and moving on to turmeric. The finish is slightly tart, and the whole is tangy with a touch of sweetness.
