This is an 18-year-old Glentauchers from Speyside, bottled by Alambic Classique from cask 26081. It was distilled in 2008 and matured in a first-fill Bordeaux red wine cask. It is bottled at a cask strength of 60% ABV, with natural colour and without chill-filtering.
The nose brings dark chocolate, freshly roasted coffee and ripe dark berries alongside spicy oak. The finish is long and shaped by elegant tannins.
