This is a 24 year old single cask Speyside single malt, distilled in 1976 at Glentauchers. Direct Wines selected and bottled it for the First Cask series.
First Cask bottlings were produced exclusively for the First Cask Whisky Circle, a club run by Direct Wines Ltd, and were released to members four times a year. This one is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
Glentauchers was established in 1898 by James Buchanan & Co. to supply its Buchanan's and Black & White blends.
