This is a single cask Glentauchers, distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2018 after ten years in the cask. It is the 17th release in Mossburn's Vintage Casks series, and is non-chill-filtered with natural colour.
The nose opens with fresh citrus, orange and lemon zest and vanilla, moving into cereal and malt. On the palate come almond pastry, fresh pancakes and spicy fudge. The finish is fairly long and on the sweet side, peppery, with surprising touches of salted caramel.
