This is a five-year-old single malt from the Goalong Distillery in Changsha, China.
The mash bill is 100% Australian malted barley, and the whisky was aged for five years in ex-Bourbon casks. Each barrel matured in the fluctuating climate of south-central China, which is said to give the whisky a flavour profile that belies its age.
