Gold Bar Distillery Retro Edition is a whiskey from the Joe Montana Collection, bottled at 42.5% ABV in a 75cl-style 750ml bottle. It is a tribute to the football player Joe Montana, and the retro design of the bottle reflects that theme. The nose is usually described as caramel, honey and soft vanilla, with light touches of oak and spice. On the palate come toasted nuts, smoked rye and a little dried fruit, leading to a smooth, lingering finish.
