This Benrinnes was distilled on 5 October 1994 and bottled on 18 April 2024 at 29 years old, as part of Gordon & MacPhail's Connoisseur's Choice range. It was matured in a first fill sherry puncheon and bottled at 53.3% ABV, with an outturn of 556 bottles. The whisky has a mahogany colour.
The nose is orange peel and butterscotch, giving way to stewed raisin, with autumnal spices, red berries and mature oak. On the palate, raspberry jam sits with toasted hazelnuts and cocoa powder, then toffee apples and subtle coffee bean. The finish is medium-bodied, with lingering spice and citrus.
