This is a single cask Inchgower, a coastal Speyside single malt chosen and bottled by independent bottler Gordon & MacPhail in its Connoisseur's Choice range. It was distilled in 2005 and aged for 19 years in a refill sherry hogshead. It is bottled at natural cask strength, non-chill filtered and without added colour, in a 70cl bottle. The nose offers sweet milk chocolate, dark raisins, toffee and baking spices. On the palate it is smooth and rich, with stewed berries, red apples, black pepper and a herbal note. The finish is warm and medium in length, moving from sweet fruit to lingering spice and ripe Morello cherry.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
