Auchroisk 10 Year Old is a Speyside single malt from the Auchroisk Distillery in Mulben, bottled independently by Gordon & MacPhail in its Discovery range. The range groups whiskies by flavour profile, and this one sits in the Bourbon group.
It was matured in bourbon casks and is bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is green apple, vanilla bean, lemon oil, floral honey and toasted oak. The palate is light and smooth, with buttered pastry, yellow plum, cereal sweetness and soft wood spice. The finish is clean and medium in length, with malted barley, citrus zest and dry wood spice.
