This is a Glen Grant single malt from Speyside, bottled by Gordon & MacPhail as the second edition of its Mr George Legacy series. It honours George Urquhart, whom many regard as the father of the single malt.
The whisky was matured for 64 years, from 1957 to 2021, in a first fill sherry butt, cask number 3483. It was bottled at a cask strength of 56.1% ABV, in natural colour and without chill filtration. 298 bottles were filled worldwide, in 70cl size.
