This is a Speyside single malt from Glen Moray, bottled by Gordon & MacPhail for its Spirit of Scotland series. It was distilled in 2013 and matured for twelve years in a first fill sherry hogshead, number 2848, before bottling in 2026.
It is a single cask release of 306 bottles, filled in 70cl at a cask strength of 60.4% ABV, with no colouring added.
The nose offers Seville orange peel, roasted hazelnuts and blackcurrant. On the palate come ripe berries, vanilla and Morello cherries. The finish is long and spicy, with black pepper, oak and lingering fruit.
