Grangestone Highland Single Malt Rum Cask is a Highland single malt matured first in American oak casks, then moved into casks that previously held premium rum for further development. The American oak stage brings green, leafy notes alongside a sweet, delicate oak character.
The nose is malty, with a biscuity sweetness, fresh fruit and a soft leafy edge balanced by vanilla. The palate is sweet and rounded, with vanilla oak, malt and subtle caramelised fruits, followed by a mellow, long-lasting finish.
