A grappa from Distilleria Berta in Piedmont, made exclusively from selected Nebbiolo pomace. The nose shows ripe red fruit, plum, rose and violet. Ageing in wooden casks adds vanilla, cocoa and sweet spice. On the palate it is refined and soft, with a long, warm finish. Best enjoyed neat after a meal, perhaps with dark chocolate or a cigar.
