Greco di Tufo DOCG Ponte dei Santi - Villa Raiano

Greco di Tufo 'Ponte dei Santi' from Villa Raiano comes from a 1.3-hectare vineyard at about 550 metres above sea level in the upper part of the namesake hamlet, in Altavilla Irpina, Avellino province. The wine is vinified exclusively in steel tanks, where it ages on fine lees for twelve months, followed by a further twelve months in bottle. It shows an intense straw yellow with golden reflections. The aroma is broad and persistent, with mineral notes of flint and hints of white mulberry, broom and acacia flowers, plus an elegant earthy nuance. The palate is rich and vibrant, with the typical acidity of Greco balanced by softness and glyceric structure, and a long, clean, savoury finish.
