Green Spot

Green Spot is a single pot still Irish whiskey made from pot still whiskeys aged between seven and ten years. It matured in a mix of new bourbon casks, refill bourbon casks and sherry casks. The name belongs to the Mitchell family, wine merchants who began trading on Grafton Street in Dublin in 1805. They moved into whiskey bonding in 1887, sending empty wine, Sherry and Port casks to be filled at the Jameson Distillery and returned to their cellars to mature. The nose brings aromatic oils, spice, orchard fruit and barley over toasted wood. The palate is full and spicy, with cloves and sweet green apple, ending in lingering spice and barley.
